Capsule Collection, Fashion, Adidas by Tom Dixon

‘Everything-you-can-pack-neatly-in-a-bag-for-a-week-away’, the capsule collection was driven by the idea of flexibility and compactness required by the traveller. The studio is dedicated to create visually appealing yet technically innovative designs. Projects are based on a keen interest for new materials and techniques available for industrial production as well as a playful approach to deconstructing, displacing and re-contextualise components and visual codes found in the everyday. The studio offers services in the fields of product, furniture, fashion accessories and exhibition design.

Design Switzerland Matchbox: Industry Connect

Launched within the frame of Pro Helvetia’s Bridges to the Future call, eight emerging design studios were selected and benefitted from a tailormade support to adapt to the current online presence necessity. Design Switzerland Matchbox: Industry Connect was developed in partnership with Medelhan – the Salone del Mobile spinoff and leading business design network, working among others with Kartell, Devon&Devon or Cappellini. The objectives of this new measure is to offer alternatives so that young studios can develop their international network and refine their pitching skills. The format of this initiative is unique for its anchoring in the market and its close connection to its key players.
